Family Fun!

I have posted pictures of this past week. I noticed that Grandma Kathy (Mike's mom) was in the pictures, but my parents were not. I guess I should reconized that they came to visit too. We have had a blast. We went shopping, swimming and relaxing the last couple of days. Thank goodness we will be back in a week or so! I don't really know where we live, but I am liking AZ more and more.

White Coat Ceremony

Mike had his white coat ceremony tonight! Wow, it was short and sweet. Mikes mom was there as well as my parents. It was a stepping stone for him. He has waited for this for some time. I keep on thinking only 2 more years to go! I even knew people that were not students besides family. This is starting to feel like home. Mike looked great for the two minutes he had his coat on. Mike took of the coat and his dress shirt the minute after! It was a overall great night!

Baseball

Mike's cousins play MLB. We were fortunate enough to get tickets from his cousin, Scott who plays for the Cubs. It was so much fun! They were great seats. We sat with Mikes cousin Willie, Rachel, and there two boys, and Peggie there mom. Hallee had never been to a MLB game and loved it. She would cheer and clap anytime anyone else did. Addie was just plain tierd. Rachel gave Hal a coloring book when the kids started to get tierd. SMART!! I didn't think to bring anything! Kathy and Hallee colored and she was entertained pretty much the whole time. Mike and I can't wait to be able to go and see Willie play! I thought it was so funny that Willie had never watched a MLB game. He thought it pretty weird himself. Mike told him well thats all we know! It was a great time and I can't wait to go again!

Dress Up

Hallee loves to dress up. Her cousins have taught her well.

Family Fun!

I decided to work 2 days a month. Mikes cousin Willie, and his wife Rachel babysat for me. Hallee had so much fun with Jackson and Parker. Mikes mom flew in that day and babysat Saturday. It worked out great! We also went to a surprise birthday party for Willie this weekend. We had so much fun! We did have some tire problems which are never good, but Willies buddies jumped right in and helped! It was so nice to meet new people and spend time with family!

Cute Girls!

I dressed my girls in matching outfits that my friends Julie and Terri gave me! I can't stand how cute they are. I guess it is good that we all think that are own children are the best looking and smartest kids ever! I love them more and more everyday!

Hot Hallee

Hallee is so good at riding her bike! She thinks she needs to ride it everywhere! We were going swimming and she wouldn't let me put anything in my bag! She carried everything of hers! I love how stubborn she is! It reminds me of someone!

Study Partners

Mike came home to study one night. He had his computer and a pen and paper out by his side. Hallee went and got her own piece of paper and pen and sat right beside him. She even went as far as to get a pillow just like him. I asked her what she was doing, and she said "Quiet Mom, we are studying!"

BYU FANS!!

My Aunt Mary-jo gave my girls these BYU swimsuits! Love them! They make Mike mad, but they look so cute in them. We swim so much that I am sure they will get a ton of use.

Sunday friends

Mike and I no longer feel lonely! We have Settlers of Catan Buddies. Brooke is in P.A. school with Mike and her husband converts cars to natural gas. They are great friends and we have been hanging out alot!

Traffic and Tickets

Well, today we went out with some friends and found out that you can get a ticket by the cameras that are located on streets here. So basically, ticket by mail! Crazy! My car is still registered at my old address so I could be getting a ticket by mail. I hope not!
I also mentioned to Mike on the way home that the speed limits are so much faster here! No, I am not complaining! In school zones the speed limit is 35 and not 20! I am kind of bugged. Some things just make me miss home. Like real cops and not cameras. I would at least like a chance to talk my way out of a ticket before it gets sent to me by mail!

Van vs. SUV

My friend Terri was talking about vans vs. suvs in AZ and UT. Well, come to find out she was right! There are so many more vans in AZ than suvs. In UT there are so many more suvs than vans. I don't know if the people with vans think there smarter than the people with suvs because of gas or what. I personally think I am very smart, thats why I drive a suv. I love my suburban and wouldn't trade for a van. I guess there are so many pros and cons for both, but I don't think I could goto a van now or ever, no matter what gas costs.

Hot!

Yesterday we returned home and man was it hot! I got out of the car and felt like I was in a oven! It was early in the wee hours of the morning and I thought I was going to die when I walked into our house. It was probably only 110 in our house! Mike had turned off the A/C for 2 days while he came to pick us up. Lets just say I wasn't to happy. The first thing I did was turn on the air. The second thing I did was to go and look in my pantry. I was so mad at Mike! All of my chocolate chips were  melted and the little animal cookies that "H" likes were melted. I got over it two hours later when we were all able to go to sleep. The temp. was finally at only 84. The girls hadn't been able to go back to sleep for a couple of hours after we carried them into the sauna. Mike learned a very important lesson that night and that was to at least keep the air at 85-90!

The Potty Dance!

Finally Hallee went poop in the potty! We all did the potty dance! Meme gave her her princess dress that she earned for going potty!

4th of July

We had a crazy busy day! We went boating of course and forgot the wake-boards. It wasn't as warm as I wanted it to be, but it was enjoyable. We went to Rob and Tracees and had a BBQ and then went to the fireworks. My dad saved us a great spot! What a great day!

Mikes Home

Mike came home from school to pick us up to drive home. Addie was so excited to see him of course! Hallee fell asleep on the way to the airport so when Mike picked her up to go into the house to lay her in bed she screamed thinking this stranger was taking her. It was so funny! The next morning she was excited to see him! We missed him so much and everyday I thank those who are serving our country and making that huge sacrifice by being away from there loved ones!
