Gingerbread Houses

We had a fun time decorating gingerbread houses with friends. I think we will make this a tradition every year.

Christmas lights

We went and saw the Christmas lights with our friends the Grays. It wasn't that cold, but we still made an effort to bundle up.
We decided that since we were going to travel to UT for Christmas that we better give our girls the present that couldn't come back with us. We had a fake Christmas Eve in AZ. The girls got to open new pjs that night. I made a Christmas breakfast and they got to open the kitchen that Mike and I got them. Santa is coming to UT and will bring them his presents on Christmas. They loved it and have been playing with it all day.
We are so grateful for this time of year and the great friends that we have made to make it so much fun.

Thanksgiving

We traveled home for the holiday. We played with family and friends and had a great time. I was really bad on taking pictures, but I will be better at Christmas. Time was short, but so much fun.

On another note, Hallee and Addie are playing great together. For the most part they are great friend. They have started playing games together and I love it.

The power of prayer.

Hallee is so cute. We were in Utah for Thanksgiving and left Sat afternoon. The weather was great until we hit the 20. It was snowing and the roads started to get a little scary. Mike was a little nervous and Hallee could tell. Out of no where she started praying. The prayer was so sweet. She asked that we would be safe and that it would stop snowing. Well it didn't stop, but we got home safe.
When we had gotten home Mike had taken the car seats apart to wash the covers. When he went to go put them back together we couldn't find one part. Hallee started praying
again. She asked that we would find the part so her car seat wouldn't have to go in the garbage. I love that Hallee knows what to do when she needs help.

Halloween Night

We went to our ward party and had so much fun. The kids got to play all kind of games to get candy. Addie slept most of the time, but woke up for trick or treating.

I also put in random pictures from October.

Hallee loved trick-or-treating with all of her friends. Addie was pretty good at going to the door too. They both loved it. After all was said and done it was a great Halloween! Sorry for so many pictures!

Halloween

We had so much fun this Halloween. It started off on Friday when we had a playgroup party and a get together to carve pumpkins. At playgroup the kids dressed up and played games, decorated sugar cookies, and did an art project.

That night we got together and had soup, salad and rolls and carved pumpkins. Hallee and Addie loved the pumpkins after they were done.

18 months

She has a mind of her own!

Addie is 19 months, but here are her stats.

Head: 75%
Weight: almost 21 lbs
Height: 32 inches (50%)

At are old office they used to write this down for me. I had to remember for this one.

Addie is growing so fast. She is starting to talk a lot and loves to be silly. Hallee and Addie love to play and wrestle together. She is so active. She hates grass and dirt. She cannot stand to be on the grass without shoes. When she gets dirt in her shoes she freaks. What a cute and playful little girl we have. We love having her in our family.

Milk anyone?

For those of you who don't know Hallee loves milk. I mean to the point of her wanting to drink it all the time. Today we went to the park with some friends. We got home and were getting out of the car. I picked up the 2 sipper cups that I had brought to the park. I saw a third and took it too. My hands were full and I asked H if she would take one of the sippers. She took the one that I had found. I walked up to unlock the door and Hal says, "mom this tastes like throw-up." I went into the house and was loading the sipper cups and that particular one was so chunky. Milk had to have been in there for at least 2 days. Sick. Got milk? He, he, he.

Mikes first rotation.

Mike has been at a pain management clinic for the past 6 weeks. He has loved being there and the staff and Dr. have been great. Mike gave him some locks to pick for a thank you gift. The Dr. gave this to Mike in return. He, he, he. He also got a job offer if he wants one when done with school! Hurrah!

Sick kids

We have decided to pass this bug from Add to H. Hallee fell asleep in our bed the other night with a bowl over head. so cute.

San Tan Flat

We went out with some friends the other night. It was so fun. You order your food and then eat outside by fire pits. You can have smores and roast hot dogs. We had a blast. Addie ended up with a bug and through up all over me. UGH! Other than that it was so fun and we will go back! We love having such good friends in AZ.

Girls, girls, girls!

My little ones have been so busy. We love laughing at Addie. She is so funny all of the time. She had decided to put ketchup all over her face and hair when we give it to her. To say the least she is not allowed ketchup anymore.
Hallee eggs her on all the time. They get into trouble whenever I am not looking. I love them so much.
Hallee is really into dress-up and would dress-up all the time if I let her. She loves to put on other peoples clothes too. Watch out if you come to our house.
Addie is talking little by little. Her favorite word is "no." She says it to Hallee all the time. We love our little ones and are thankful that they keep us so busy.

Mikes first day of rotations.

Mike started rotations about 4 weeks ago. He is having so much fun. I had to snap a few pictures on his first day. I cannot believe that we are almost done. Time is going by so fast. Mike is doing great and really loves what he is doing. We are where we need to be right now. Mike will be a great PA when he is done.
