What cute little girls!

I found these pictures from about a month ago. We had Katie and Brynn sleep over. They had so much fun. Don't they look stylish in Memes glasses?

Gingerbread House

My Mom, Dad, and H decided to make a gingerbread house. Hallee was more interested in eating than decorating. This is the finished product. We had to take a picture before it fell over!

Snow!

It has been VERY cold in Utah. I almost cannot stand how cold it is. We ventured off to the cabin on Tuesday. It was so cold and fun. We decided to go sledding the easy way. You know I wasn't about to climb up the hill. We decided to attach the sled to the 4-wheeler. Hallee and I had so much fun until Hallee got off. Mike decided to pull me a little faster than I wanted. We went down this big hill and the sled and I were going faster than Mike and the 4-wheeler. To say the least I ended up covered in snow and so cold. I am missing the warmer weather.

Nolan

We arrived in Utah early Sat. morning. My parents had some cute surprises in store for Hallee and Addie. We have a elf that helps Santa. He looks over us every day. He magically moves from time to time and we have no clue how. Hallee decided to name the elf Nolan. We don't know why, but Hallee choose the name. No one suggested it to her she just came up with the name by herself. We all thought she said his name is Noland, but no it's Nolan. She has a little friend in AZ that has the same name and maybe that gave her the idea. I guess we will never know.

Santa

We went to the ward Christmas party tonight. Hallee couldn't wait until Santa came. She kept asking where is Santa. Well Santa arrived and Hallee waited in line to sit on his lap. She finally got to the front and sat happily on his lap and told him what she wanted for Christmas. Hallee told him she wanted a Minnie balloon. I know she is so hard to please! Well Santa said that he would bring it to her. All the kids received a little present from him. Hallee took the present and told him thanks. She walked off and about half way from the back of the gym she decided to open the treat bag. The bag had some goodies for the kids. She turned around and said "wait, I asked for a Minnie balloon!" I started laughing so hard. I then explained that Santa would bring it on Christmas if she was good. Mike and I realized that we hadn't explained that Santa comes on Christmas. I love the cute little things she says! This time of year makes me realize what a great family I have.

Temple lights

We went to see the lights at the temple tonight. Let me tell you that they do give Utah lights a challenge! It was a nice cool night. We took Jen along for the ride. Addie loved the lights and screamed happy sounds most of the time. It's a great new tradition to go and see the lights in AZ. I think we all decided that we liked seeing the lights in AZ better because of the weather!

Disneyland

We had so much fun in Disneyland. I could go 5 times a year. We started the trip in the early morning hours. Our first stop was the airport to pick up my parents. The fires in L.A. kept us from getting to the airport in time so they took the shuttle. The fires were huge! We saw houses burning and it made us so sad to think that people were homeless. The freeway was way backed up so it took so much longer to get to the hotel than we expected.
We made it to Disneyland and it was empty. Well not completely, but the fires had scared off the weekend crowd. We went on every ride you could think of and only waited in the Toy Story line. We had a blast.
Mikes brother called and asked if the lines were long. To make a ling story short, they were in Disneyland the next day. Overall it was a terrific trip. The girls were ready to come home at the end of the four fabulous days. Thanks Meme and Papa! We had a terrific time.

Mikes turn!

So I went to work today. This month I only work one day. Mike had the lovely job of being home with the girls! I received a call in the afternoon and Mike told me Hallee had something to tell me. I was able to talk to H and she told me that she colored on the wall. Hallee and I have been practicing the letter H. As you can see she is very good! Mike told me tonight that he doesn't know how I do it. I love my family!!

Hair everywhere!

I don't know what to do with Addies hair! I have tried putting it in a little pony, but it just looks so funny! Any suggestions?

Hallee can dress herself!

This is what Hallee thought she would wear today! She dressed herself. I love the Halloween socks and no pants. I thought you all should know that Hallee is making a fashion statement.

Animals

We went to the zoo with Jen and Cason again. We had so much fun! The missionaries came with us. It was p-day and they were able to join us. The whole district met at the zoo. I think that is what it's called.
Hallee would take Casons hand to get Cason to want to walk with us. She now cannot stop talking about him. We found the petting zoo and were able to touch the animals. The weather was wonderful. I love to go to the zoo. It is a great way to see Jen and get out of the house and enjoy the beautiful weather.
We found the Zebras just for you Papa!

Happy Halloween

We had a terrific Halloween. Hallee and I started the day by going to the Library. They had all sorts of activities. Hallee saw her little friend Aspen at the festivities and they went ot play at the park after. It was a beautiful day.
Next on our list was a nap for Hallee and Addie. Well since Hallee wont take a nap it was sort of difficult.
Mike arrived home around four. Yes, I said four! We then went to Walmart. This cute lady stopped us and just raved on how beautiful our family was and then gave us all this free stuff. Lovely!
We went Trick-or-Treating for about 50 min. Hallee would scream and run up to each door. She became very independent and wanted to go by herself. Didn't happen because Mike and I are very protective. She wanted to keep on going, but her container was full to the brim. If you see the pictures be sure to notice that we are all in shorts and t-shirts! That is right, it was a beautiful night! I loved that I could wear my flip flops and not get cold. Mike even enjoyed the beautiful and pleasant night!!
My family used to have a tradition that on Halloween we would go and see my old preschool teacher. We did this every Halloween until I was older and then it stopped. Well they moved to AZ. Of course we had to keep the tradition and go and see the Garrisons. We had a terrific visit. It was so fun to carry on the tradition. Well on the way home Hal fell asleep and the night was over.
Mike said yesterday to me "this was a really fun night!" He was sure right. I love having Hallee enjoy every holiday!

A trip to the zoo!

Who's behind that funny face?

Are they not the cutest kids in the world?

Jen, Cason, and Addie waiting for Hallee to finish playing in the water.

Isn't Addie so cute? She is the most tolerant and patient baby in the world!

Who's bigger?

We went to the zoo on Wed. with Jen and Cason. Hallee loved all the animals. It was so fun to see Jen. We moved to AZ and this was the first time we have seen Jen.
Hallee loved seeing all the animals. It was a little hot outside, but we had an excellent time. We cannot wait to ge with Jen and Cason again.
