Happy Kids

Hallee has wanted pictures all the time. She was able to get a new bike and is so excited. The problem is I wont let her ride it until it gets dark because of the heat.

Addie on the other hand has been so fun. We love to play with her and make her laugh. Hallee goes to bed so early that it gives us a little alone time with Addie and we love it. She is growing and changing so fast that it's hard to believe that she is almost not my little baby.

Addie went to her 15 month appt.
30 inches long

She is such a cute girl. She knows many signs now and is such a happy girl. The walking is underway. Addie chooses to crawl most of the time, but walks more and more each day. We love having her in our family and love watching scooter grow.

For sure this time!

Plain worn out.

Hallee is in preschool this summer. We go straight from swimming to school. We end up at home around one. It's usually a full morning. 9-1 is great for me, but the girls sure do get tired. I find Hallee taking a nap most days now. She never used to take one, but I am liking this a lot.
Halle came home from preschool with her hands dyed purple. I went and picked her up that afternoon and asked her what happened. She and her cute little buddy Lilly had traced there hands like everyone else. She then told me they had put hand sanitizer on after. That little trouble maker. Her hands were purple for 2 days. So cute.
Addie loves eating cupcakes with Hallee. Of course she only likes the frosting, but isn't she so cute.

I can do it all by myself!

Mike had me grab the camera. Hallee was so proud of herself tonight. She was getting in her pajamas and we went to take off her belt. I hadn't even realized that she had put on a belt. This is how she put it on. So cute. I can't stand how cute she is. What to do?

Summer fun.

We were able to go to some friends house to go swimming. Hallee has been so brave that it scares me. I would have never thought that she would jump off the diving board, but boy was I wrong. Today she said mom watch and jumped off. She is getting so brave.
We went to a splash park and I took some cute pictures. Addie is walking and scooting. She likes to scoot more than walk. I am sick of the butt of her pants being worn out. She is such a cutie. I love my girls and enjoy spending time with them!

Finally

Addie is finally walking. This morning she was in her diaper and nothing else. She decided to take 6 steps. I had my phone right by me so I caught it at the last minute. We are so excited. She is 15 months and needed to walk. I will get her scoot and walk on tape and post it. We sure are going to miss that cute little scoot of her.

Update on swimming.

Everything went fantastic today. I am hoping it will last. Thanks Hal for being so brave.

What to do?

Hallee is taking swimming lessons. Well there would be pictures if my child wasn't a brat. Hallee isn't liking swim lessons. She has had the worst outburst at the pool. Let me paint a picture for you. The pool is an outdoor pool with bleachers in the shade so everyone can watch, can watch my kid that is having a tantrum. Hallee will not get into the pool. I put her in this morning and she jumped out and of course came to me. This is the second day this has happened. I hate it. Everyone is watching my child kick and scream.
I love the lifeguards at the pool to say the least. There is this girl who is a gem. She has come to my rescue 2 days in a row. The first day she came and took Hallee and said I will take her. If you let her get away with this she has won. Today was even harder. Hallee was crazy before she even got in. She was kicking and screaming, but just before I was going to give up the girl guard came again. To say the least I love her. She said go and get Hallee and bring her to me. I went and got her from Mike. Mike was on the way to the car. I gave her to the guard and she said leave now. I heard H crying for a while and then it stopped. She came out and said to come back in. She let us in the gate so Hallee wouldn't see us come back in. Hallee was laughing and having fun. Thank goodness. Lets hope all goes well tomorrow. Thank you to the guard that takes my screamer everyday. We really do appreciate you!

Getting to Know Dad

Hallee and I were reading the friend and they had a section on getting to know your dad. I decided to ask her the questions and just see her answers.

1. Did your dad have a pet? Yes, me.
2. What was (is) your dads favorite subject in school? Puter (computer)
3. What is your dads favorite hobby? I rephrased the question to what does your dad like to do? Play at the park.
4. Who was his best friend? Hallee said I was. Me: you were not alive. Hallee: I promise I was.
5. What was his favorite food? Ice cream
6. Did he get an allowance? 5 pennies
7. Who was his hero? I asked her who did he look up to? Hallee said he didn't look up to anyone. Me: I am sure he did. Hallee: No he's taller than me and you.

9. How was dad like you when he was little? Smart
10. How was he different? He doesn't get to paint his nails.
11. What do you have that hadn't been invented yet when he was your age? Dora

Mike and I just laughed the whole time I was asking her these questions.
