Addie's Growing!

I went to play group yesterday and decided it was time to make Addie sit up. Well we worked on it all day. By the end of the night she was sitting up. She is now doing it all the time. I love to see my kids grow physically and mentally. Time goes way to fast.

Hallee does tell the truth!

Tonight Mike and I went shopping with the kids. I told Mike not to come so he could study, but he insisted! We went to Walmart, my favorite store. Not. You do what you have to do. Well to make a long story short, we had a little scare. I had Hallee in one cart, and Mike had Addie in another. Hallee asked if she could hold my wallet. I thought what could it hurt. Well, I gave her the lecture before hand of not dropping it. We continued to shop and I asked Hallee where was my wallet because I couldn't see it in her hand. She told me she didn't know where it was! Mike was so mad at me! The first words out of his mouth were, "WHAT THE HECK WERE YOU THINKING GIVING A TWO YEAR OLD YOU WALLET"? Lets just say he didn't just say it! I was so scared that I had lost it, and to make matters worse Mike was upset! I asked Hallee where she put it. She told me that she forgot and then she had put it by the bananas. Mike and I searched everywhere. I found a Walmart worker and asked if she had seen it. Guess where she had found it? In the bananas of course. My little Hallee had kept telling us that it was in the bananas and I didn't listen to her. I learned 2 lessons tonight. First, never give your wallet to your daughter! Second, Hallee does tell the truth! My heart is still racing tonight! I hate the feeling that something so important is lost! Mike did say his sorry of course!

My Addie!

I have been waking up every morning to go and workout before Mike leaves for school! Well, I have been complaining that Addie never will lay down and play by herself. This morning I walked in and she saw me and started crying. I went over and picked her up. She stopped crying of course. Mike told me to leave the room. I left the room for a few minutes and came back to see her playing on the floor by herself. She then saw me and started to cry! Mike told me it has been all my doing! I guess I love to hold her and snuggle her a little too much! I love that she wants me all the time, but I guess it had its negatives too!

Coming Home

We left for home yesterday night. I can't get out of the driveway without crying yet! I love living in AZ, but I hate leaving Utah. I will not miss the snow, that is for sure! We always travel late at night for the girls! The ride is so much easier when they are asleep! Well we pulled into our complex very early in the morning and our car was gone! Mike was going crazy! He drives a honda civic and it was missing! He said "Me,g someone stole our car!" First off who would want a 1997 civic. It is not the nicest car! We walked into our apartment and I looked at the monthly flyer. The flyer said that they would be painting the parking spots and the car needed to be moved or towed at the owners expense. Well it has been a month since we were home, and I was not happy. I told Mike I knew they couldn't do that because they only gave us 5 days notice and we were gone! Well, Mike was awake all night pacing about the situation. I slept soundly! Mike went to walk around the parking lot and found that they just had moved our car! Everything turned out just fine!

East Canyon

We were able to go to East Canyon with Mikes family this past week. The kids just swam everyday and played. It was very relaxing. Hallee loves to play with her cousins. I was fun family get together!

Skid

We have been staying with my parents the last couple of weeks, and has Hallee been spoiled! We got home and there was a little surprise in the back yard! My parents got a tire horse for H. It is soo cute! Mike named the horse Skid, because it is made from a tire. H scares me a little bit! She wants to go so high, and then she says " no hands"! She acts like a little boy! She needs some fear in her! Mike or my dad usually pushes her because mom doesn't go high enough.

Lake Powell

I haven't been able to blog for some time now. We have been on holiday for over 3 weeks. Our first stop had to be Lake Powell. We met my parents there. We love it there! Mike and I can't wait until we have a time share! Hallee has become a little fish! I think she is beginning to like the water as much as Mike and I do! The tube is her favorite thing to do! We were so tired at the end of the week and it was off to Utah for some relaxation time!
